My Holiday Checklist

  • July 16, 2017

We’re going on holiday next weekend (yay!) and I’m currently packing the cases and making sure we have everything we need. I’m quite organised and usually get everything ready early but am still always really worried we’ll forget something. I like my lists and make a checklist to try and stop any last minute panics on the way to the airport. I’m not talking about clothes or toiletries, those kinds >>

Things To Do In Orlando That Aren’t Disney

  • April 30, 2017

We went to Florida last summer and I still haven’t gotten around to writing all the posts I planned to! I’ve written about Disney and Universal, the obvious ones, but there are plenty of other things to do in Orlando that aren’t Disney or theme parks. If you’re heading to Orlando and don’t want to get too overloaded with Disney here are some things you could do… Shopping in Orlando There >>

My Travel Bucket List

  • September 15, 2016

Whenever I go on holiday I start to daydream about jacking in work and travelling the globe – I’m sure it’s not just me who does that! Pretty much the day after we got back from Florida we were talking about where to go next – and we have plenty of places that we still want to go to. The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Orlando

  • September 12, 2016

I have recently written about our holiday to Orlando, and have talked about the best ways to find Princesses at Disney and other handy tips for visiting Disney World. The other main attraction in Orlando is obviously Universal. The Holiday Of A Lifetime In Orlando

  • August 16, 2016

This time last week we were just getting back home from the holiday of a lifetime in Orlando, Florida. We had an amazing time and it’s hopefully a trip that we’ll all remember for the rest of our lives. I certainly took enough photos to remind us of it! The husband and I went on some fab, far flung holidays pre-kids and travelling is one of our favourite things. It’s >>

How To Book Your Holiday Without A Travel Agent

  • July 28, 2016

We love our holidays and count ourselves very lucky to be fortunate enough to go away most summers. We haven’t booked a package deal for a long time though (I think the last was our honeymoon 9 years ago!) as it is usually much cheaper to do it all yourself. If you’re planning a bit of an adventure rather than a beach holiday, building the holiday yourself is the only way. >>

Dreaming of Barcelona

  • June 11, 2016

Barcelona is our happy place. It was mine and the husband’s first holiday away together, and also the place where he asked me to marry him – at the very top of the Sagrada Familia no less! That unforgettable proposal was 11 years ago now, and though we haven’t made it back since we are always dreaming of Barcelona. When I saw Clickstay’s competition to “Blog Your Way To Spain”, where you >>

  • April 20, 2016

It’s about that time of year that we all start thinking of holidays. When you are single and/or childless you can go on amazing holidays that are lovely and exotic and also relaxing. Unfortunately when you have kids, the reality is a little bit different! Little H is almost 5 so luckily we’ve been through the worst bits of going on holiday with a baby – travelling with a toddler isn’t fun >>
