In collaboration with Liverpool ONE
When we lived in the UK we loved to explore and visit new places, but living on the South Coast we didn’t make it too far north very often. The crazy thing is that now we live in Spain we could actually get to some of the cities in the north of England by plane quicker than when if we’d had to drive there from Dorset!
One place in England that I’ve never visited before but would like to is Liverpool. Famous for its music, fashion and football amongst other things, Liverpool has so many places that should be top of the list for any visitor, especially those wanting to capture memories of their visit on their phone.
If you are a travel or fashion blogger, or an Instagram addict, Liverpool is the perfect destination for you! Liverpool has so many hidden gems at every corner, allowing you to find the most Instagrammable spots around the city. So if, like 40% of millennials, you’re looking for the most Instagrammable travel destination for your next break, read on to find out where in Liverpool you need to go – and don’t forget to use the hashtag #VIPLiverpool in your Instagram posts!
With great shopping, restaurants and entertainment close to the iconic Liverpool waterfront, Liverpool ONE is at the centre of it all and this vibrant and super-stylish part of the city is the perfect place to start your visit.
There are plenty of Instagrammable eating and drinking spots in Liverpool ONE, including cocktails presented in seashells, weird and wonderful crazy golf courses, and canapes at The Club House.
On top of this, Liverpool ONE is walking distance from some of the most amazing locations to snap some great photos.
If you’re looking for a stylish backdrop for your Instagram photos, Liverpool is right up there as one of the most fashionable cities in the UK. Take your pick from historic buildings such as the Royal Liver Building housing the Museum of Liverpool, or you might prefer the colourful backdrops of Knight Street Corner.
Liverpool is home to some amazing wall art that would make the perfect Instagram photo. One of the top Instagrammable places in Liverpool, La Parilla is a Mexican inspired graffiti halfway up Bold Street with some very colourful characters. In the Fabric District, you’ll find new graffiti and wall art appearing all the time.
Liverpool at night
If you want to add some night time photography to your Instagram feed, Liverpool has plenty of places to choose from. The Zig Zag staircase in Liverpool ONE lights up and changes colours – the perfect background for a selfie on your night out in Liverpool. A favourite with many Liverpool Instagrammers is Princes Dock footbridge which lights up purple and blue, a great location for some dusk photos.
