After School Fun At Mighty Claws Adventure Golf

We recently visited Mighty Claws Adventure Golf in Bournemouth for some mini golfing fun and delicious pizzas and milkshakes. Having been before when it first opened, we were excited to visit again.

I find it can be hard to fit fun activities in during the week because you’re so busy with work and school – we end up trying to pack everything into our weekends. Mighty Claws is open until 9:30 pm during the week though, so we headed down after work and school for some fun.

Mighty Claws is unlike any other adventure golf I’ve been to. It includes 18 holes of animatronic dinosaurs, volcanoes, waterfalls and caves – complete with dinosaur sounds.

We arrived around 4pm and it was quite busy, but luckily we didn’t have to queue for very long to play.

The dinosaurs and volcano are great for keeping kids entertained anyway if you do end up waiting a bit for your turn.

We are all still pretty bad at golf, but enjoyed it none the less, even if our balls did end up in the water quite a bit at one point. I think Little H enjoyed using the net to fish the balls out of the water more than actually playing golf!

A new addition to Mighty Claws is the Gem Mining. You can grab your gemstone mix at the shop and head over to the water sluice to wash away the dirt and see what treasures you’ll find.

It takes between 60 – 90 minutes to complete the 18 holes, depending on how busy it is – and how good at golf you are of course.

We worked up quite an appetite after our game and were very much looking forward to the amazing stone baked pizzas they do in The Kitchen Club.

You can also get 20% off the amazing Ferocious milkshakes including Oreo Cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake and Chocoholic – all you need to do is present your Mighty Golf ticket.

Mighty Claws Adventure Golf is open 7 days a week, 9 am – 9.30.pm on weekdays and 8 pm on weekends. It’s located at Playgolf Bournemouth by Littledown so is easy to get to and has plenty of parking on site.

If you want an hour or two of fun, with dinosaurs and pizza you definitely need to visit Mighty Claws.

Have you been before?

Sarah
