Letter From Santa, Nativity And Christmas Storytime #LittleLoves

  • December 15, 2017

Today I’m joining in with Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat’s #LittleLoves linky for the first time. The idea is to take a look at little things we’ve been loving recently. As this is my first time linking up, here’s what I’ve loved over the past few weeks…

I had one very excited child when Little H got her letter from Santa last week! I worked with Lapland Mailroom on a competition on my blog in October and loved the sound of their letters. Little H was amazed that Father Christmas knew what she wanted, knew her cousin’s names and where she lived. She also received a “Nice Child” certificate which made her day. It was so lovely to see her get excited about it and to see that she definitely still believes!

We’ve also been reading our favourite Christmas books plus a new one The Snow Queen which I’ve had to read 4 times this week!

On Tuesday we had Little H’s first proper Nativity play – previously they’ve just done carol singing. Little H was asked to be Mary but didn’t want to speak or sing in front of people so she was an angel instead. She had to dance with a few other angels and did really well considering she hates people looking at her!

I’ve also got totally hooked on Quantico on Sky Boxsets and have completely binge-watched the first season over the last week. If you haven’t seen it and like FBI/CIA type shows then I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

Last weekend we went to Moors Valley Country Park with some friends for the Fairy Godmother’s Storytime. It was absolutely freezing but the kids all sat nicely and we listened to a lovely Christmas story about decorating trees before Santa arrived.

I took Little H to a local ceramic painting place to paint a plant pot as a Christmas gift for my green fingered Nan. We had fun and I thought it was a lovely gift for a grandparent. It turned out pretty well and hopefully she will love it.

I bought Little H this amazing “Cool Girls Club” jumper from Matalan. I’m all about empowering girls and just had to buy this jumper when I saw it. Would like one for myself but unfortunately, they don’t make it in my size.

And lastly…

School’s now out for the holidays and I have 3 days of work left. I’m loving the Christmas spirit and really looking forward to next weekend. We’ve had lots of Christmas fun so far with more to come this weekend and next week!

Hope you’ve been having fun too! Looking forward to bringing you our #LittleLoves again soon.

Hello Sarah I’ve only just started joining in with #littleloves recently as well. I shall probably do it on and off. We went to Moors Valley Country Park a few years ago when we had a holiday in the area and absolutely loved it there. Quantico sounds like the sort of thing my husband would love. Good tip!

Christmas is at it’s best when we have little ones who believe in the magic and never quite the same when they discover the truth #familyfub@_karendennis

Oh I love Moors Valley! It’s not far from where my in laws live so we pop there every time we’re down.
Lovely to have you in the Little Loves gang! xx
