Finally, spring will be here soon. I’m definitely not made for cold weather. There’s nothing I like about winter apart from maybe Christmas, and to be honest if Christmas could be in summer I’d be totally fine with that!
Here are 5 things I love about spring…
Lighter evenings
Isn’t it just so depressing in the winter when you leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark? It’s so much easier to get up in the morning when the sun’s shining, and I love it when we can go to the park or play in the garden after school.
Sunshine
Obviously living in England we’re still likely to get quite a bit of rain in spring and summer, but there’s much more chance of sunny days and I like that a lot.
Daffodils
Is it just me, or are daffodils just the happiest looking little flowers? I like having bunches of daffs in the house, seeing them on the side of the road when we drive past, and when we go for walks.
No more coats
After wearing a coat from around October time I will not be sorry to see the back of my big, warm, fluffy hooded coat for a few months and bring out the lighter jackets again. Same goes for the winter jumpers and boots.
Baby Animals
We’re lucky to have a few really good farms in the Poole and Bournemouth area, we love visiting them with Little H and holding all of the baby animals.
So those are just 5 of the things I love about spring – I could definitely list a lot more!
What do you love about spring? Or are you more of a winter person?

baby animals, I think that’s my favourite thing.
But then sunny days are awesome too.
I love spring, can you tell?
This would be great linked up at #TreasuredMoments if you’d like to have it there
